About
Dr. Justin Johnson, D.C.

Dr. Justin Johnson has practiced for more than a decade, including two years in Utah after Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, five years in private practice in Pennsylvania, and Delaware work focused on acute injury patients.
He continues post-doctoral study in personal injury care and spinal MRI interpretation. Patients with headaches, recent injuries, or a history of being rushed through adjustments tend to stay with him.
Outside the clinic he spends time with his son, homebrews, remodels, and explores concerts and craft breweries with his wife, Marina.
“One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing patients come in at their lowest. By the time they finish care, many are smiling through tears of joy.”
What a visit with Justin looks like
Your first appointment runs 60 to 90 minutes, and the adjustment is the last thing that happens, not the first. Justin starts with your history — what happened, when, what makes it worse, what you have already tried — then screens your posture, measures range of motion rather than estimating it, and examines the joints and soft tissue around the area you are pointing at.
You get told what was found before anything is treated. If you are a chiropractic case and you want to be adjusted the same day, that happens at the first visit. A full verbal report of findings comes at the follow-up, when there has been time to look at everything properly.
Justin adjusts using Diversified, Personal Injury Protocols, Spinal MRI Interpretation, and the choice is made from the exam rather than from habit. Lower-force options exist for every region of the spine, so if a manual adjustment is not right for you — or you simply do not want one — there is another way to get the joint moving. Each technique is described here.
Not every problem is a chiropractic problem. If yours is not, you will be told at the exam and pointed toward the right kind of care.
